BusinessRiver's Fit Out Awards programme is the green community's most important event and boasts a 17-year track record of benchmarking the performance of Ireland's leading sustainability and green business pioneers.
The awards were founded in 2008 and have been part of Ireland's journey toward a sustainable business future over this time. We have been honoured to recognise the achievements of both Irish and major global businesses alike, as well as outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the sustainability cause. These include the following recipients of the Green Leader Award: Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Eamon Ryan, TD, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications and Eddie O'Connor, founder and CEO of Mainstream Renewable Power.
